Everton seem to have turned things around and are now mid table with a game in hand on most of those around.  With a run of matches that should be won, things are not looking as dim as they have been for Everton recently.

Beckford scored a couple and looked good for a third before coming off with a hopefully minor injury.  Osman had a great match and a great opportunity to score for the first time in a while, but his shot was headed off the line.

Jones, whose stature and distributing style of play is reminiscent of Allblacks centre Conrad Smith, put up an up and under that was recovered well by wing Derek Townsend and eventually scored by lock Brian Erichsen.
